THE BRIEF
Nordic Strong is more than a studio. The Nordic Trainer is also available for at-home fitness enthusiasts. The newly released iOS app makes it easier than ever to enjoy Nordic skiing from the comfort of your own home.
The goal of this project was to help Nordic Strong redesign their app experience to better support membership sign ups, scheduling and managing classes, performance tracking and analytics, awards and accolades - and most importantly - the connectivity of their app to the Nordic Trainer.

We redesign the app by spending countless hours testing the most efficient way to track the performance, goals, and flow of Nordic Strong classes. This process helped us build an experience that's catered towards the members and the trainer simultaneously. Speed, distance, power, and Splits can be customized to provide an optimal and convenient workout for all. All classes and performance are automatically synced to the app making it simple for members to track personal improvements and share their wins with friends. There's even a leaderboard for those natural born competitors!
The future of Nordic Strong is bright. I'm currently in the process of designing a new monitor which will be directly built into the newest model of the Nordic Trainer. A 16" touch screen experience, with some exciting new features like live workouts you can join from home, workouts with friends, and a library of immersive Nordic tracks that will make you feel like you're racing through the Norwegian fjords.
